Question BD-R's not working in blu-ray player - 03.21.17, 08:32 PM

Hello,

I have recently downloaded a few of the newer blu-ray videos that have been shared here, specifically the Queen and Adam Lambert at Rock in Rio in Lisbon Portugal and Def Leppard in Warsaw, Poland (which actually might have come from dime). I burned these two concerts to the same Verbatim BD-R's that I have been using for years, and suddenly they are not working in my blu-ray player. Now my old Panasonic BD-35 is a bit outdated, so I went out and bought a new Sony BDP-S6500 thinking that might fix the problem, but they don't work on that either! I use ImgBurn version 2.5.7.0 to burn the BDMV folder to the disc. I am on Windows 10 (not sure if that makes any difference or not). I have burned many of these concerts in the past on blu-ray and they worked fine. I am stumped...has something recently changed in the formatting of these files in the BDMV folder that they are no longer working? Please help!

Thanks,
Andy

PS...I noticed the specs on the new Sony player says it should recognize BD-R that are version 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 including organic pigment (LTH type). What do these versions mean and how can you tell what version it is? It also goes on to say that BD-Rs recorded on a PC cannot be played if the postscripts are recordable...what does this mean?

PPS....I also updated the firmware on the new Sony player, that didn't help either.
