If anyone has other episodes. Please upload. More to come.
Episode 4 of 12. I will upload the comming week.
Again, this needs to be pulled. I see an AC/DC video in the screenshots. They have commercially released their videos on DVD. Family Jewels. If this commercially available material continues to get uploaded, this site will be closed down. It is the uploader's responsibility to ensure they're following the rules.

How will the site be pulled down? No one will care about whats on a private tracker unlike a public one. Pulling these torrents will make it harder for us to find.

Hi
I was informed that these old episodes from Headbangers Ball was ok to upload
here. If that's not true then I will not continue this. Can any mods here confirm
that it's ok with Headbangers Ball episodes with videos and interviews are ok.
If not we go back to Pirate Bay.

Pirate Bay is horrible! I sent you pm suggesting a better site to upload them

You don't need a mod to confirm this. The rules are that NO commercially available content is to be uploaded. Many bands have commercially released their videos. It's up to you as the uploader to do the research. It doesn't have to be commercially available now. If it has EVER been commercially available then it's not allowed here.

You should not have to ask that question!! Sharing commercially available content is copyright infringement and it's illegal. If somebody came on this site and saw that people were sharing copyrighted material, they could close it down immediately.

No they wouldn't. It's only in public trackers like pirate bay people are after. Most people downloaded from public trackers not private trackers like this site. It's really unnecessary to remove music videos just because of copyright infringement. It's illegal when you sell it not trading / sharing.

MTV was a free to air channel from 1986 - 1998 aka public channel and as long as the logo
MTV is attached it has no legal conflict with copyright. As long as the video is not taken
from the official release itself with no watermark. The videos aired by MTV has been fully paid for to the artists and managment. I dont see a wrongmaking here. If you say everything has a copyright all torents has to be pulled. Every torrent here has copyright material. Even if it's performed live. All we have left is interviews. If the Mods want to pull the torrents so it be but then you need to take all down.
If it's OK on pirate bay I don't see why it can't be uploaded here. Not sure why Metallica isn't allowed here either. And why haven't they shut down ioffer? They SELL tons of bootlegs there, this is free. Someone made a good point. Even an audience shot show is a bootleg and illegal because it contains copyrighted music that is performed live. Someone seems to have a lot of time on their hands so google it. Hell, I'm a filmer and have been threatened to have the cops called on me more than once. Why would they do that if filming a concert wasn't illegal? And finally, why don't they take down all the bootlegs on you tube? Some have been officially released.

Reason: idiot Hitman Horton
and we have to considerate that the dimeadozen criteria is the standard for this type of bootleg trading sites.
the views at youtube are monetized, and the money goes to the respective owners of those recordings, that's why now that kindtyype of videos aren't banned anymore (tv shows, news clips, music videos, concerts, video game let's plays, etc).

And by chance there's some alternate/rare music videos from the European headbangers ball . I don't see the point taking them down here. MTV itself does not care about there past shows

the problem here aren't the show clips itself but the videos that appear on official commercial releases (almost all of them)

Yeah but it's not worth editing out/ removing it. No one is really going to care about it. What people are after for copy right infringement is public trackers like pirate bay. Not private trackers like here

I think it will be Ok.There are sites full of material all over the internet not getting closed down.If it was actual official quality stuff you could purchase in the store that would be different.

that CAN NOT be an excuse.
So what comes next, upload on JTT in AVI, MP4 or other lossy formats official concerts because theyre "not as good" quañity as lossless official releases formats, or complete discographys in MP3 because of the same?
Some years ago we had a mod, marcel, who instantly pull all the torrents whenever they broke the rules of official released content/artist/venues not allowed on the site.
