Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm having issues with bot the DVD-ROM drive and the DVD/CD Write drive. I know for sure it's my drives cuz I was able to drag the Video-TS folder from the Trower disc to hard drive on wife's computer. Burned them as a data disc and transferred to my hard drive (now there's a work around LOL) so will post it here eventually. I do need to figure out my issues first though. Good to know that moving files off disc isn't as difficult as I had thought though. Have a sneaking suspicion it's Windows (go figure) Media Player. I installed version 11, didn't like it and rolled it back to version 10 and that may have been when all this started. Guess I'll go back to v. 11 and see if that helps. Sigh.
BTW Dokkendude, the Grand Funk is an MPEG-2 file and very nice quality. I'll post it from the DVD (Video-TS folder) soon as well. If you like the band, you'll be pleased, trust me.

How do I know if it works? - 08.03.07, 04:19 PM

http://www.jamtothis.com/showthread.php?p=64306

I just added this, the link opens for the torrent but when I do it (using UTorrent) I have a red arrow and the torrent error says "unregistered torrent pass". Like the others I got confused at the end with the Bit Torrent part. My thread says seeders "0"

Looks like you may have created two threads, or attached the torrent twice. Now the tracker is confused and will need to have Brett come along and give it a wack.

I was just quoting what you had said and an MPG file is more suited for vcd or svcd
MPEG-2 is dvd compliant

I started my torrent from the pull down on the front page. Then when I read the how to page it said use the thread page. I had both screens up and yes I did upload the torrent to both but only submitted one. I figured the other would have just canced out when I didn't submit it. Can it be taken care of?

It looks like it should be working, you just have to seed it. Download the attachment from the tread, select the folder where the files are, it should verify and seed after.

You need to re-download the torrent, delete the one from your bit torrent program. When it asks you to save the files in Azureus you need to choose the exact directory where the files for that torent are saved. Then it will verify them and seed.

Seems fine except your transfer speed is very slow.

Do you have a router? Do you have your ports forwarded so that you're not firewalled?

will one torrent impede another? - 12.07.07, 10:11 AM

I notice in the peer stats that no one is downloading any data yet. Is that because I am downloading another torrent? Does that stop my upload? Last night it said seeders: 1 now it says 0.

I agree, Dr. It becomes very unclear to me as to what is happening from #15 onwards.

#15 means that you should click on the torrent file that you uploaded (just as if you are downloading a torrent) doesn't matter which BT client you are using.
#16 When you seed a show after clicking on the torrent file from your post, it should ask you where you want to download the torrent to on your HD. Just point it to the the folder where the flac files are on your computer. After you do that your client will comfirm that the files are on your computer (you should see the download bar go quickly) once it does that you are now seeding.

Thanks for the help. It did just that. Only problem is it uploaded to nearly 80% when I accidentally reset the passkey and got tacking errors and killed the upload and my download too. No I can't do either. Why is that passkey reset there? It's right beside the profile button. Can a download be resumed?

Yes, log out of the site and re log in. Then do steps 15 and 16 as you did before, it will pick up where you left off. The only problem might be that you don't get credit for what you previously uploaded.
