Thanks for all of your hard work. From what I've learned, it seems like this show is about 45 minutes long. I think it's important for people to know that because putting it over two discs seems kind of odd.

Looks like a cool show. Can the uploader confirm the approximate running time? Is it less than an hour? Just curious why a short show is on 2 DVD's with a file size above 5gb. I didn't even know that was possible if it's under an hour.

I agree but 2 DVDs is definitely not necessary. It looks like they started the Slippery When Wet tour in Canada opening for Judas Priest and that's where this show comes from.

If they were opening, then it probably is under an hour. Not sure what to do. I'd love to see this show but a little reluctant since such a short show is on 2 DVD's. It's been my experience that when a show has a really high bit rate (not sure if this one does) that they tend to pause up on me.

I appreciate the upload. I'm sure you just got it in a trade and didn't do the transfer. HAND seems to have all the good Bon Jovi info. Maybe he can shed some light.

I appreciate the upload as well and I'd like to have it but spreading it over two discs is just not needed so I'm going to have to pass on it.

Judging from the screens it looks like the version I remastered a few years ago and that was definitely put onto one disc. (Putting a 45min concert on two discs is plain BS).
If someone wants I'd be happy to share the original one

I would LOVE to see the 1 disc version. Just doesn't make any sense for this to be on 2 DVD's.

Dom, it's not the same version as you've done with Kathleen. I can understand if uploaders are copying setlist and venue info from my website (or lineage if it matches it's copy)... but I can't understand how they can steal the screenshots, if -like in this case - my copy is 1 DVD and Djole's 2 DVDs. Just compare screens from this upload and from my trading page and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I'd love it if you'd share the one disc version as well. That would be awesome.

This is a upgraded (remastered) version of a show, don't know who's the enhancer. It is about 1 hour long. But since it's an upgraded version I think it deserves 2 DVDs, of course if you're a fan. I'd never judge if it's one of two DVDs, good bootleg is a good bootleg. You have screens, it's on you to decide if you're gonna download it.
Personally, I uploaded it for a traded that asked for it.

In my opinion, spreading a one hour show over two discs doesn't make any sense. I highly doubt anybody would see a significant improvement in the quality. I can only see one reason for doing it, but I don't wish to share my opinion on that here. I'm going to pass on this and I have a feeling that many others will as well. I do appreciate the time and effort you put into creating this though.

I agree with this. It's not an attack on you, dj0l3, it's great that you share so much to begin with!
It's just senseless to make a 2 DVD version for two reasons: Even IF you use the highest bitrate that's possible on DVD standard combinded with LPCM audio it still fits barely one hour onto one disc - enough for this show.
Furthermore, if it was taken from a previous copy (I doubt it's a new transfer), there still is no need in re-encoding it at a higher bitrate than it was before - you simply don't gain any information or quality doing that and just end up wasting space.
And even if it's a new transfer from an old VHS tape: this medium didn't store that much quality to begin with - encoding a video at 8 Mbit/s doesn't make any difference to encoding at 15 Mbit/s since there just isn't so much source information to begin with.

Man what's the deal? Just pass it. No one forces you to download it. Like I said, I'm in a trade so I uploaded it for 2 reasons: to trade and to gain ratio.

No one was attacking you. You need to get a little more relaxed.
People are just expressing their confusion. And I can get that: I've been trading for about 8 years now and I've never seen such a little amount of footage put onto more than one disc. If we go by that standard a concert like Cologne 1996 would need to be released on 6 to 7 DVDs.
Still, no need to get aggressive, he even thanked you for your time and effort.

Sorry man, rough day. I uploaded this for a trade, and to gain ratio through it. My personal opinion is that VHS transfers don't need bigger bitrate than 4 Mb (4000 KBps), but I'm not the one who made this DVD, guy asked me to upload it and I did.
