I bought this about 2 years ago on ebay. It has rare videos as well as the MTV collection of videos (dave era), interview with eddie and val, dave letterman interviewing dave, rare tv appearances, van halen in amsterdam hanging out. no sammy on this dvd. enjoy. Very good quality on most of the dvd. let me know if there is any problem with the torrent as I am a newbie to all this. Please follow the link posted below for details.

I've redone the torrent so re-download it and try getting again.

It's been that way ever since it started. The seeder apparently comes and goes at various times. I started my download 9 days ago, and I, too, am only at 61.9%. Another six or seven days, and it should be finished.

Unless everyone is caught up to what the orginal seeder has uploaded, people will be feeding off each other until they get to that point. So say if the original seeder has uploaded 70% of the file and you are at 60%, you'll still be downloading the additional 10% from the others still on the torrent. Once everyone on the torrent is at 70% (or whatever the original seeder has uploaded), everyone will pause there and wait for the seeder to come back on and upload some more.

Now the dawnloaing is over: it's dawnloading no more, and it says:
"ERROR
IOerror-[Errno 13] Permission denied"

The % was about 60. I try to close and rerun the program, but it says the same always. The program starts to check the existing data, but after few seconds (one-two seconds) it stops and says that.
Does it mean that I have lost about 6 full days of dawnloading? :( :( :(

No, it probably means you have another version of your client running in the background. At least, that's the problem I've had when I've seen that error. Try using Task Manager to look for the process and kill it.

It's still the absolute, hands-down, undisputed number 1 of the SLOWEST download I've ever seen...been going since almost the beginning, and it still says 107 hours left.

I'd love to help out but I'm really stretched to my limit of seeding right now and don't think I could handle another one just yet. Only have so much bandwidth to spare and I really can't just kill the ones running now yet.

I've got 5 shows seeding right now and that's pushing it pretty hard for my connection. (and one even downloading too)

Maybe in a few days though, I might be able to reseed this one. I also have to clear out some space to even put this one back on my HD. If in a few days nobody else has seeded it, I'll recreate the torrent for the new tracker and put it up.

Also, remember this site move (with the new tracker) has made it sorta tricky for many to reseed these shows. Don't worry though, it's just a minor hickup and things will get back to normal very soon again, I'm sure.

Just sorry I don't have a bigger pipe to stream it up, but I'm pushing it along as fast as I'm able to, with my other seeds. I'll try and keep it going for about 5 more days or so and have only been seeding it for about 19 hours right now. (btw, I love how Azureus lets you set up a column for how long you've been only seeding for called "OnlyCDing4" which makes it easy to keep track)

Hopefully that'll be long enough for enough to get it and continue for the others. If I have to take it down before some are finished, I'll try and bring it back for a bit now and then to help 'em finish. :thumb:

Edit: Just wanted to add if somebody feels like seeding these discs early, I'd still be happy to add my seed later on to speed it up for those that missed this the last time around. It might be 2 or 3 days before I get a chance to do this show, but if I see a seed running I'll jump on too.

Sure don't understand where all the great seeders went to lately. Man... a few weeks ago this site was really cooking for torrents and most of us could hardly even keep up with all the new torrents. Now it seems just a handfull are posting vids, though the audio torrents section isn't too bad. I'm seeding 4 shows now and there aren't that many others even going atm. Where'd everybody go? :scratch:

I used TorrentSpy to check statistics on this torrent file and it shows 11 seeds and 64 leechers. Why isn't anyone able to connect to the seeds? I am well versed in BT and port forwarding and have tried with two different BT clients that are working properly. As of yesterday, I could not get past 93.7%. Is something wrong with the tracker that is preventing seeds and leeches from communicating with each other or is it a fluke that TorrentSpy is giving these statistics? The seed/leecher stats on this site do not seem to be current.
Has anyone else noticed the strange behavior of this torrent?

I was just able to connect to 6 people that have 96.5% of the file. It seems that the person that created this torrent might have to re-create the torrent file with the following correct tracker address:

This thread link below explains why the statistics are wrong because of the switchover to a new tracker and the fact that the some thread's torrent links are pointing to the old tracker address and that is why stats are showing as 0/0/0. This is probably why TorrentSpy is giving me the stats illustrated above. It looks like the stats have been frozen to the last day that the tracker changeover occurred.

I tried editing the torrent file in Notepad to switch the old tracker address with the new address but when I run the torrent it gives me the "bad data" message. I am going to try a couple of other methods and report back the results to help other members having problems with this completing.

I thought maybe this torrent was running on both trackers at the same time but I see that it is not on the new tracker yet. I sent "TheFetalDesperado" that uploaded the latest torrent a PM to see if he can recreate a new torrent link file and post it back in this thread so that there are realtime statistics available for anyone trying to get this download

I was downloading this torrent last week and at 72% I reached my download limit for the month on my cable modem and I have been slowed to a 28.8k speed for the remainder of the month. :mad: If this torrent happens to dwindle off towards the end of this month, could some people please hang around or at least keep it on your pc so I can complete the torrent at the start of next month. Yep, the menu is pretty much useless. I thought it was just me but they noted the problem on vhboots.com, so it must be a problem that originated from the master copy.
