This is pro shot and was sourced from a silver disc. it states VH1 classic on the screen. It certainly wasnt shown in the Uk.
maybe our friends in the states can confirm if it aird there? The picture is good but not quite perfect. the colours look a little washed out. but you decide!!

First off, thanks for sharing this. Its was an official release on VHS format. I haven't watched it in years. I believe part of it is their videos and part is concert, but I could be wrong. I don't think they ever released it on DVD.

The only release to my knowledge were Sight for sore eyes, Flesh, blood and videotape, 7days live and a Greatest hits DVD. The one you mentioned shows no listing or anything. Maybe it was muted for a release but never saw the light of day?

If the moderators would like to research then I am happy to take it down. But as far as I am aware it was definietly notavailable in Europe and i never heard of it being released in The USA either.

I have a quite a bit from Compilations and TV appearences, no full concerts though. It is mainly from Europe when the appeared on shows as aprt of a promotional trip they did. the qality is not great and it all resides on old vhs. I WILL GET AROUND TO TRANSFERRING THEM AND AUTHORING THEM OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS/MONTHS DEPENDEANT ON FREE TIME!!!

I have the 2 official videotape release I was thinking of, but they weren't titled Posion Swallow This Live. The one is Sight For Sore Ears and the other is Flesh, Blood & Videotape. I do also have the CD Swallow This Live. I was thinking they had a videotape by the same name, but I guess I don't have it.

Apparently because no one can prove nor dissprove that this was or ws not an official release and that the CD released with the same name could have been on this DVD.

I have researched and IMHO this was not ever officially released and the Live CD of the same name was taken from various sources (i think in Florida mainly). I have left it with the mods and will stand by their decision

This video HAS NOT been offically released, the two videos mentioned before were infact VIDEO COMPILATIONS and hardly any live video footage what so ever. I have them and everything offically released by Poison. but the Mods have guidelines the have to explore to keep this pLace open.

Capitol records pulled the release date shortly after they listed it. no OFFICIAL reason was ever given, though I have it on good authority that a certain someone would not sign the release papers so they could sell it with his "likeness" in it.

Thanks for your support guys but it is down to the mods. They have to be sure that we are not putting things up that might cause infringement of copyright regulations. I hope for all your sakes it will be ressurected and that they reconsider, else i will remove it rom my HD and find something else for all you glam craving people!!

it's all good, it is just a matter of RESEARCH...I have been a serious Poison fan since the beginning in L.A. (I even have some of their first few flyers in storage somewhere from back in the day) I was SEVERELY dissappointed that they never released the video of this.

BTW they filmed SEVERAL pro shots of this tour for the video from what I have been told by my sources. Wouldn't it be cool if they all popped up? I know I sure as hell would love that!

this was never offically release on video. Aired as part of ABC concert series back in 1991, as part of an hour long show with 2 other bands. I still have the video (somwhere in the basement). The live album (read the small print) was recorded in Miami, Tampa, and some other places... so, this must be the (full) recording of what was used for the ABC show. Poison should have put out live video back then, but the same could be said for VH with roth or the crue in 87 whatever... vh1 probably replayed the concert on the classic channel. Colors may be washed out from generational transfers from VHS... who cares Poison pro-shot sounds great. Thanks for this.

If you put a copy of the good file in a separate folder and create a separate torrent for it, it should all be good. Just edit your first post in this thread and add the new .torrent file to the others already attached and start seeding. You may also want to edit the text in the post so people know what's going on.

Is anyone else having trouble burning this? I tried two copies, and neither play in my DVD player.

They play on my laptop. Are we sure that this is NTSC, and not PAL?

I have the new file, as well. This is the first DVD that I've had a problem with. I'm using DVDShrink, and it is coming up as burning just fine. Then I did a direct burn through Nero, and that didn't work either.

I remember watching this concert on TV back in '91 at a party I was at. I have always wondered why Poison did not release this show on VHS back then themselves as their live double cd was just released titled "Swallow This Live". I know they were going to do it, but it got canned at the last minute. But I'am glad that it is here as I have always wanted a Poison show on dvd from their biggest time in their career. Thank you for posting this one up.
