This is something downloaded a while back and thought I would share. Hopefully it has not been posted already....I did not find it here. This is was RATT's appearance on the TV show ROCK PALACE back in 1984 (after the release of OUT OF THE CELLAR). This is not a complete concert and the video quality is a bit lacking as whoever converted it probably took it from VHS. The sound is fairly good though. A fun watch for any RATT fan. I remember seeing this when it was originally on TV. SCREENSHOT ADDED.

You Think You're Tough,
You're in Trouble,
The Morning After, (extended Robbin/Warren guitar solo - VERY COOL)
Round and Round

NTSC
Recored from TV (VHS?)
MPG format
15:20 minutes running time

VHS to MPG? Please tell me that someone has a better copy of this. Sorry, but I'm inclined to pull the plug on it just for quality reasons...

well since I know of no other copy on the net....I thought I would offer it up. Let me know if you want to pull it. It is watchable....and less than 200mb.

Like I said ...this is for the die hard RATT fan.....they will appreciate it.

BTW....who had anything but VHS in 1984? LOL And as far as I know....stuff like this is not offered up to the public (if it is....please point me in the right direction).

I would guess that these are the same 4 RATT tunes which have been floating around the torrent sites.

Here are two versions already seeded here (both > 1GB):

We need to see screen shots...but I have a feeling this is the same stuff seeded before.

I don't think Ron is questioning whether or not this was VHS at one point but rather questioning the post of an MPG video which is < 200MB. There will be a definite degredation in quality.

yep...it is the same show...HOWEVER...no one is seeding those so it is irrelevant.

I guess it's odd to me that a website set up to share video's etc would be so picky about quality. I realize no one wants to waste their time downloading something if it looks like "s" however it was my intention to share something that I have not been able to find before that is fun to watch regardless of not being PERFECT. I did make it clear in the original post what the source was and the quality of the video. That gives people an idea of what is there and if they want to see it.....they can download it.

From now on if I find something I have not seen online before and it is not perfect quality I will skip sharing it here. BTW...I have downloaded some real crap from this site that was 1gb or more....and no one fore warned me about and no one bitched.

It happens to be very relavant because a better version does exist and has been seeded here and you are uploading one of lesser quality.

Also, it's not odd for a site to be so picky. This site goes out of it's way to make sure everyone gets the best possible copy and a VHS transfer to MPG is not a quality transfer. It's the same reason you don't see MP3 audio here either. The sound quality is compromised when converted to the MP3 format.

Yes there have been videos on here that are not crystal clear...but that is the only version which is available. So, in that respect. it's better to have something than nothing at all. We all wish these videos would be crystal clear but unfortunately that's not the case. Please don't take this as a personal slam. I'm not tying to scare you from posting shows here in the future.
