Here's a new DVD that I just made. This was the reunion show that Extreme did back in September in Boston. I used a clone of the master video & synced that to an excellent DAT audio recording.

I really doubt that'll happen from what the WAAF DJ's said after interviewing Gary and the boys. I don't think Nuno is into it. He likes doing the side stuff. I guess if they need the money bad enough maybe they will but otherwise I'd be surprised.

That's my understanding of the situation, as well. From what I can remember, Nuno said in an interview at one point, that there was no chance of Extreme getting back together. Since the breakup, he's had nothing positive to say... I don't imagine we'll hear from Extreme unless the pocketbook gets a little tight.

Damn shame too, cuz I never really paid that much attention to Extreme... Then Gary hooked up with VH, and I really learned to appreciate his talent. I started listening to older Extreme, and liked it... Now that he's out of VH, I don't have Gary in either band :rant: :D

Yeah I figured as much. I thought I heard a rumor that they were doing a few gigs over seas in Japan or something like that. Its a shame that band had a great sound and was rather diverse from album to album ie they changed it up a bit. Nuno's solo projects on the other hand are not all that stellar IMHO. Oh well one can dream and remember this. If the might VH can get back together than anything is possible ;)

Wooooo!!!!! Fantastic!!!!

Saw the band in 94 just before they split. Wasn't a great show. Nuno was SOOOO miserable and gary was mad. They did an interview on TV before the show and you could feel the anger!!!!

Hope this one rocks :)

I only got to see them when they opened for DLR during the little ain't enough tour. They played for 40 minutes and were better/tighter then Dave that night. Great energy as well as kick ass set. Dave on the other hand looked a bit hung over and I was disappointed that Jason Becker wasn't able to be on the tour. That guy could hang with the best.

The sound on this show is pretty good. Play it LOUD!!!! The show is kinda short but it's alot of fun. Nuno sure can play.

Gary does use a tone of curse words. He says the band isn't really a band so he can say whatever he wants. Then he goes on to bash the other rock radio station in Boston.

Gary & Nuno both sound good on this....not too bad considering that they got together for just this show.

I saw them at the Campus Club in Providence back in 90 or 91...I taped it too...have no idea where it is (it was a really crappy pocket tape recorder, so we really arent missing anything...)

Yeah I know. I remember the morning show guys at WAAF saying he dropped the F-Bomb quite a bit and it cheapened the show a little and was really out of character for Gary. But they commended his bashing of WBCN I think it is.

I remember Hillman saying that about Gary's comment on Pat not being asked. I kinda laughed. I guess he (Pat) is a big shot promoter now and money is not an issue for him anyway. Now all we need is someone to make an audio boot of the show and seed that next!!! :thumb:

KICK ASS! I have been wanting this for awhile now myself....its a shame that Pat wasnt a part of it, but thats life I guess. These guys are amazing and Nuno if unreal...I agree tho, its too bad they dont realize that THIS is where they should all be, f-the side shit, rock out with your band and make everyone happy.

I'm gonna havta try grabbing this one tonight, assuming there are still seeds.

I love Extreme and was fortunate enough to catch onto them early on. I was into them when their first album came out and saw them on their first tour. I then got to see them three more times. Twice on their second album tour and then on the Punchline tour. I missed the Three Sides tour but no biggie. The Punchline tour really rocked. I use to have an audio recording of it somewhere, I'm gonna havta find it.

Thanks for sharing ... it is a shame when great bands break-up!

I have only watched up to half way through Hole Hearted, so I don't know how good the performance of Get The Funk out is. ALl in all, it's a pretty good DVD, they just seem a little rusty in parts. My only disspointment is in Mutha (Don't Wanna Go To School Today). The original has a really heavy flanger riff, reminiscent of Unchained, and on this video, he was just playing the riff with a bit of palm muting, which was a bit of an anticlimax.

Still, you can't have everything, cuz this is still great to see them live once again, and I don't wanna sound unappreciative. It's great, he just needs to borrow a Flanger if they play live again !
