Mr Fingers- thx for the great DVD set. Been watching 1-4 the last couple of days and have seen a lot of great stuff.

Of course the Roth era stuff is best- too bad more of it wasn't available via original tapes (does anyone from WB have any business sense? hello? damn record company weasels...).

I must admit to having the Sammy era records as well- any VH is better than none, right? Some of the Sammy era records are alright- F.U.C.K. woulda been a kickin Roth album- the music was amongst Eddies best. I just can't watch Sammy- seems to clean cut for VH. Roth-era VH compared to Sammy is like comparing Black Flag to Flock of Seagulls- different game entirely. :rock:

Never saw Cherone era VH- they kinda lost me after Roth. Not sure what they were thinking with Gary. He doesn't fit at all. He swings and misses big time, but I guess most of us knew that already. I actually kinda feel sorry for the guy... :o I guess he got up to bat though, right?

Mike and Alex's role never change- rock solid foundation for Eddie. Eddie's songwriting is great for the first six albums and maybe the odd scattered song after that, but let's face it he is a bit - umm- eccentric? His guitar playing however is inspired and revolutionary/influential and that is what makes VH one of the most important bands of the late seventies and early eighties.

man watching this dvd cracks me up...all the BS that went on back in those days with sammy leaving, dave showing up with the band at the MTV awards and all the crap that surrounded that...now we are kinda in the same boat now that the tour is over and there is rumors that sammy is back for good and a new album and all that mess....

3 seeders, 1 leecher and my d/l and u/l rates are zero? Strange. I'm stuck at 39% for almost a whole day. Is it me or is there some technical thing goinig on?

I get the same thing - 2 seeders, 4 leechers, and I'm at double zeros. Once I restart, it starts out strong on both u/l and d/l, but ticks down to zero. Anyone have any ideas?

Well I must admit to being SLOW on these, I just started out with 1 and now with #5, figure get the ones with the most seeds first, might go faster.

This set looks amazing, so big thanks from me to everyone involved.

At last finally got it. My PC has got a bit of a virus, this d/load was going so slow that I had turn off all my virus protection & firewall etc.So I am afraid I cannot seed this yet. I will endeavour to get the thing sorted & get back on line & seed it ASAP, sorry chaps.

I am just glad to be able to start seeding again...I have a great dsl pipe here at my office--but last month lost 235 gigs on my main hard drive--sent it for recovery--it had too much of my work on it and several torrents--I am still trying to get things straight here--got back 206 gigs...but now I have been cleaning things up and burning back up dvds--hard lesson to learn--I have backup h-d---but I had stopped using it in sept when I got this new machine--was gonna clean things up then go for it...ouch!--so at least I have made it back up here now---my buddy Corwin has been picking up my slack while I was away...he is a great trader/seeder--just lives about 5 or 10,000 miles from me! I am down here in Arkansas---he is over the big pond!---Hawk

Thanks again Hawk, however it seems I still haven't been able to connect to you. I know you have been seeding this for sometime now but I don't think I have ever actually connected to you. My dl rate never goes over 4 kb's and it says it will take another 283 hours to complete. I'm not sure what is going on, I should have completed this file along time ago. I was able to connect to you last week for Compilation 3 and had that one done in no time. For whatever reason though this one has been a real struggle to get.

Damn...I have been uploading that file at 50kb! I figured you were on it...maybe try restarting the torrent--I know that is a pain in the ass...but I have had to do it pretty regular...I just did it a while ago after my post..I realized that I had stopped my vegas disk 2 to restart it...after it restarted...got connected to more seeds....sometimes it works..and other times it doesnt--keep trying--I have it up for ya...Hawk
