I'm going to hop off, and wait until all the info is there. I've been on for over three hours and nothing has come through.

DVD 9 ?, why waste all that bandwith and 2 weeks dload time, a $3 blank for buckethead?, a 700 meg XVID would be plenty appropriate for any CAM rip.
With the excellent results of xvid in the movie scene i'm really surprised it hasnt caught on here, theres plenty of cheap standalones that play xvid out now.

Xvid-- a version of MPEG-4 right?-- I could have compressed this down, but the guidelines for JTT are QUALITY, QUALITY, and QUALITY as far as I know. This video is REALLY clear and the audio is GREAT, I think any compression would take away from that. If it was an old vintage tape recording I agree it probably wouldnt matter much, but its really a great looking show.

One note though, when I burned it to DVD-9, my set top player wont play it, but my pc plays it just fine. Im guessing my set top Sony just doesnt like dual layer DVDRs, as it was my first burn.

Peace

.........But, if the admin OKs it, and enough people request, I could crunch it down to a DVD-5 or so. I just think they probably would'nt let that fly here.

Alright guys--seems like like someone is about to become a seeder--FINALLY! This is a massive file to upload over 128K! :(

PLEASE all who complete the torrent hang around and seed on this one, to get some speed going. Also, Im going to rip the audio from this show for my own personal use (to jam in my car :D ) so I might torrent the audio files later.

Ill keep seeding after someone completes, but if nobody helps seed say after tomorrow or the next day, Im gonna hop off. Ill stay longer if people help seed.

Peace

Someone was about to complete (at 98%) the other night then apparently jumped off. I'll wait for a second person to complete, but Ive got to jump off regardless after that.

Peace

::Crickets::

Anyone remotely close to finishing this thing? The other day someone was at 97%, but the tracker doesnt show anyone finished yet-- Week # 2 and Im still the only seeder.

Please post feedback if you grab this. :notme:

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback and good question...I actually burned mine to a DL DVD-9 disc all in one pop. Im not too sure on splitting to two discs. Theres the cave-man method of taking the smaller sized IFO and VOB files and putting them in the VIDEO_TS folder, then taking however many of the VTS video files you can fit on the disc (in order), and burning that disc as disc 1.

You then take the smaller sized IFO and VOB files again and drop them in the VIDEO_TS folder for disc 2. Take the remaining VTS video files and drop them in there. You then will end up with 2 discs each with the same menu, but you can only access the menu items for which you have video files on the disc-- follow me?

This doesnt require any special software other than your burning program--this can be done with Nero for sure I think.

Your other option is to get ahold of some DVD reauthoring software or a little program called DVD Split. Cruise the net and see if you can find that one.

Peace
