Here ya' go guys.

I've got two others to repost as well... St. Louis, and East Rutherford... I want to see how things go with this first, then I will repost those.

Anyone who was in the middle of downloading this will have to download the new torrent file attached to this post, but if you save to the same location, you should be able to pick up right where you left off... Your client will have to verify all downloaded data up to the point where it stopped.

Let me know how it goes guys. This is a new tracker and a lot of things are changing, but everything will hopefully be much smoother now... But we NEED feedback!!!

I don't know. Like I said, I kept ALL existing data exactly the same... so if one of the people who completed the show downloaded the new torrent and saved to the same place... in theory, they should immediately start seeding. That's what it looks like someone did... but I don't know who.

I also have leechers ranging from 5-89% complete, so it looks like everyone was able to successfully resume where they left off... but again, I don't know for sure how everyone's doing... only what Azureus is telling me.

Good news is that it appears the tracker is reading back properly.

Both the seeds are showing, and it's only showing 1 leecher, but my guess is that they logged off the site after they started the download. It's also gone up and down... the old integrated tracker kept everyone listed, even if they logged off or shut down the torrent, consequently, the leecher list never decreased...

The way I see it, it's probably working like this.

The old post has been removed, but the dude who did the work with this new tracker apparently told Eric that the old torrents would still work... I'm reposting mine and closing the old threads to keep things up to date and simple.

My guess is that several people completed (or are ahead of you) the last download (from the old tracker), and are still connected, even though I have reposted... they are essentially on a "different site"... even though both trackers were for this one. I have a feeling that I am seeding anyone who downloads the new torrent that I have attached, and that you are still receiving data from everyone connected to the old torrent which isn't even posted anymore.

In either case, you should be able to get the whole show from those seeds... and if they drop off, all you would need to do is download the new torrent attachment, and save to the same location. You should pick up right where you left off, only using the new tracker. But I wouldn't bother unless you stop moving on the other one or something. :thumb:

Dave--I have my setting at "unlimited"--there are 3 pulling from me--I reckon yours is the "2" that is upping---I dont have this thing capped--sorry--if I can do more--somebody just let me know what to do--I plan to keep it going untill all uploads are done--perhaps if I shout down some of my other bit torrent files that would help--but then I am mostly up-loading on those also. Just remember that even the fastest cable accounts will have some sort of cap set by the ISP. ComCast, for instance, defaults at 30kbps... you can upgrade to 40 or 90, for a price.

If you have 3 torrents open, and you are capped around 30kbps... that only gives this torrent 10kbps. Split that through 3-5 leechers = 1-3kbps per person. If you are seeding a show from scratch, it's usually a good idea to dedicate your entire bandwidth to that torrent until you get another seeder or two to help you out. That is, unless you have a huge cap, but I'm guessing 20-40kbps.

Thanks for continuing to seed this... I posted this torrent twice...once on the old tracker, and once on this one. The members on this site are awesome... Lou has already pointed out how incredible it is that we can keep torrents rolling for weeks at a time. This thing would have been dead a long time ago on Easytree.

Keep it up guys, and stick with this dude. DVDs are hard to get rolling... once you get one or two people done (that will stay and help you), it'll move right along. 90% of my posted material thus far has been DVDs... trust me, they're time consuming :D

hey all, i got the vob's fine, but for some reason, k3b (my dvd burner) won't accept the ifo's, bup's and video_ts.vob (the small vob file)
does this have something to do with lower case letters in the file names?
anyone run into something like this?

I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say thanks for posting this, it looks great with excellent menus. I can tell it's from vhs, but it's still awesome.

I downloaded a .wmv video file from vhforums.com last year. It was maybe 30 MB and was just the intro and first song, "Right Now" from the Molsen show. It has no signs of being sourced from vhs. Does anyone know where this may have come from? Do some traders have a pro-sourced dvd?

Is the version you have the Obscured Collection, or the AppleJack Studios version?

My understanding is that the AppleJack version is the best available.

I have no idea where it's from, although being a Rush trader, I know that if Applejack made a version, it would be great quaility. Since it's just a wmv file, I don't know. I know it looks really good, like it was sourced from a dvd. Has the applejack version been torrented here?

I'll have to do a better comparison, but I glanced at the dvd when it finished downloading and it has the hazy look that vhs stuff has, and the wmv I have doesn't seem to have that vhs haze to it. I'll inspect them more closely tonight.

I would recommend if you want to stay behind that corporate fire wall don't even attempt to start downloading DVDs at work :notme:

No doubt. The only way bittorrent will work through a firewall is if you configure it to do so, which you'll never be able to do, unless you are a network admin. Get dsl or a cable modem and you'll be set.

Ok, so I wasted several blank dvd's trying to get this to work on my standalone dvd player- turns out it only likes capital letters in the VIDEO_TS folder name and filenames so thought I'd pass it along in case it helps prevent even just one more coaster ;-)

Yes, when creating a DVD from torrents here, you should have two root folders:
VIDEO_TS (where all the files go)
AUDIO_TS (usually empty)

These two folders should be uppercase. While the AUDIO_TS folder isn't always necessary, it's good to include it for compatibility purposes. (as some players won't recognize the DVD without it)
