Do you like Unmasked? well that's cool
it doens't matter what album you like best it's still
a KISS album!
There are a lot of KISS-fans who have for a reason a special album
they like most,that's quite normal.

and btw it's a good thing that this amount of KISS-show is posted
outside the 9316 club.

so Petbur thanks for all the KISS and keep them coming!

Shazzam, Biotch!

Yah, Baby thanx for the up.

I was thinking of grabbing this from the club too, but, you know. . ran out of bandwidth. I don't want to miss out on it again so I'll deal with my ISP later, if I have to.

I had a previously circulated version of this, but the quality wasn't terrific, and it wouldn't play back properly once it got about 2/3 way through the disc.

Coffin asked "Are there any filmed shows from the Elder Tour out there anywhere?"

The answer is no as there was no Elder Tour. About the only thing that exists from the Elder era is the Friday's TV footage, and Solid Gold. Maybe a few more. A boot that you can try and find is The Elder Media Collection.

Also something I wanted to point out to everyone. IAS passed away last week. RIP IAS. You will be missed.

I don't remember an Elder tour either, but I recall seeing some footage from a performance at Studio 54 as a 3 piece (no lead guitar), but I think it may have been lip-sync'd if memory serves correct (but then again, I have knocked off a few brain cells since then so I may be way off base). Was this the footage used for Solid Gold?

I could be wrong, but my memory tells me that was at the Palladium where Ace didn't show up and they performed as a 3 piece, and I do believe it was lip-synched...

Thanks for the KISS shows, much appreciated

The Palladium show in 1980,was the only show on the UNMASKED tour that Kiss played in America. The non Ace show was for the lip synch at Studio 54 for an Italian tv show where the band, minus Ace,lip synched to,"I",off The Elder. The Palladium was originally named The Academy Of music.....
BTW,Hope you don't mind me jumping on with the seeding...

This is a good video for as old as it is.. I love listening and watching KISS and this is definately a good one.

I agree that The Elder is a good CD.. But then again I do l ike a lot of stuff from bands that are one thing and then skew off to do something different.. I'm not as fond of Unmasked as others here, but it is still a decent disco version of KISS
