Thanks for this post, really looking forward to it. Never did see them but back in the early 80's they were a favorite of mine

I remember seeing this on TV yeeeeeeaaaaars ago. Thanks for the vid, and the reminder that I'm far too friggin' old. :)

Loverboy was the second concert I ever saw. That night the opening act was Bryan Adams, who was a no name at the time.

Yep got to see them a few times, always a good show. Remember one time back in the day when right before Quiot Riot hit big they opened up for Loverboy, that was a pretty good time. Ahhhh the good ole days!! Thanks for sharing this.

I'm pretty sure that this is an official release. I have this same show taken straight from laserdisc.

I'll put a hold on this until the powers that be decide if this is appropriate or not. :dunno:

I have no idea either way, but I hope it gets to hang around.
I saw them live around this time, but didn't get to enjoy too much of it. We were up front against the barricade on the bass player's side, and he must have had a cold or something because he was coughing up crap all over the place. About a third of the way through, he turned his head to our side and hocked one up that barely missed me and hit my buddy on the arm. I spent the rest of the show dealing with him yelling at the bass player, waving his arms, throwing anything he could find on the floor at him, etc. Pretty much made the rest of the show unenjoyable...my friend still cusses about that bass player if anyone ever mentions Loverboy. If this stays up, I'll burn him one for old time's sake :D
