Ok guys... I promise, I'll be putting the US Festival up. I've had a few problems trying to rip the DVD, and I already had this one ready. I'll see if I can't get things straitened out with the US Festival by the time everyone's done with this one.

I wanted to post this because it's the less common of the two from this venue. The second night seems to be everywhere, so I figured I'd post this one to complete the set. I just got it myself, not too long ago.

Quality is what we have come to expect from the 04 shows. I haven't even watched the entire thing yet, but what I have seen is screen shot. Great picture, and sound comparable to the better '04 dvds. Taper sat in the upper section, row 18. The menu for the disc was quickly thrown together with no sound or pictures, so don't look for any whistles and bells with this one... but the quality of the recording is worth the download, alone IMO.

I'll get to work on that US Festival post - meanwhile, this one will be seeded in 15 minutes or so... as soon as the data is verified. :thumb:

Yeah, if you're gonna be getting a burner at some point soon, it's worth collecting them while you can. While my burner was down, I passed on 3 or 4 DVD downloads, figuring I could get them after I got my new one installed... I don't think I need to tell ya' that I never got them.

Man, sometimes seeds at easytree and stg don't even last 12 hours...that's pitiful... I'm hoping (and it looks good so far) that people will make a real conscious effort to preserve the torrents here. The Balance dvd has gone nuts for the past week. It's great to know there are that many people who are going to get the show...very cool :thumb:

I try to leave my window open at least as long as it took to DL the thing. I do this at work so sometimes I cant let it stay open that long. But I'll seed her as long as I can.

I think everyone understands that not everybody can leave their client open to seed for days.... What gets me are the people who never say a word on the other boards... but they'll connect up and download a 4 gig dvd, and close it as soon as it's finished... even if they've only uploaded 100 megs.

Man I love those sites, but everyone seems so disconnected... and it's so impersonal. I'm tryin' real hard to keep everyone involved and communicating here... I'd love for this to become a community of PEOPLE who share music... not just a community of files with side-comments.

It's funny how much I dig this band. Man, when I get a new boot, I'm like a kid in a candy store. Whether it's DVD or Audio... doesn't matter. Wierd thing is... they're the same 20 songs!!! A new boot will have nearly the exact same setlist as shows I already have... Doesn't matter... Burn it and listen intently :D

Truely though, I dig the people. There are no other VH fans around here, and not even many music buffs... I live in the country... so contact with guys like you that have similar music tastes is great. That's why I've spent so much time at Guitars101... it's just a fantastic community of very generous people... I love it :thumb:

Tell me about it. The first DVD I got from 04 was the second night at this venue... It took 80 some odd hours to download... It said estimated time, 3 days blah blah... I still checked on it every 5 minutes :D

The SECOND it was done, I disconnected and burnt the dvd, then reconnected the seed... I just couldn't wait, I HAD to see it. The DVD burner is a fairly recent addition to my set up, so when I was able to download videos of concerts that happened less than a week ago... needless to say, I was pretty freakin' pumped :thumb:

The second video I got from this tour (it was the one on the vhforums) took about a month and a half.. That was pretty nice.. :rolleyes:

Part of the problem with this one is that I decided to seed it... then found out that people were having trouble with 2 of my other DVDs because all the seeds dropped off...

So I'm seeding this... and 2 others. In a day or two, hopefully those 2 will have a few seeds and I can devote 100% of my U/L bandwidth to this torrent.

Sorry for the wait guys... but the best things in life are worth waiting for :thumb:

Yeah, I actually like this disc more than the second night DVD... This one just seems a bit higher quality, overall. Picture is pretty incredible if you ask me. I felt it was well worth my time when I downloaded it. :cool:
